Saturday morning we got up and headed down to the market on Portabella road. The next few pictures are of what we saw. It is always fun to see everyone's wares.

Farewell to Scotland

Well off to London we took the train which was very nice along the coast line. Then we arrived in kings cross where we picked up a couple of taxis. The flat is amazing right next to the river it close to tube and nice neighborhood.

Edinburgh castle

The castle was very cool to see how things were done. We took a little tour to get some history. We saw the crown jewels then on to the royal quarters. The war memorial was very nice. Once we had toured the castle we headed down the royal mile. Which is lined with shops and pubs. At the bottom of the hill is hollyrood house which is the queens residence when she is here.

Back in Dublin new day tomorrow

Cliffs of Mohar

This was so amazing. The view was incredible. I sat for a few and watched a video of the biological life in the area. We then headed on to another pub for some lunch. Stopping every once in awhile for photo ops. While riding along the whole time our driver telling us stories and listening to Irish music.

After a little breakie we had scheduled a carriage ride thru one of their national parks. The driver was this hilarious old gentleman. He told us all about the woods and castles. The picture is of part of the trip. When we got back it was time to head out on the next part of our tour.

Killarney

On the way to Killarney we stopped at a castle. I can't remember but if i put in marmalade then I will comeback to it. It seems to work for our driver who seems to get distracted a lot. We then made our way of the Blarney castle. Which if you saw the photo you hang upside down. They also had a poison garden which I was able to pick up a few supplies. (hee hee) We then arrived at Galway unloaded the backpack and took off for the shops. Met up with everyone later and ate at the pub "The Louch Inn Killarney" We then walked around until we found some music to listen to for a little while. Then back to the hostel for the nightly shuffle of packing and organizing.

Paddy hostel

I'm not sure if you really get a good picture of hostels as they go. By all means I travel as cheaply as possible. Which means you do give up a few comforts. To their credit they have always been clean. My first shower was an adventure you never know how the water will come out faster or slow hot or cold. Well there was one button on the wall you push it and it gave a steady stream of water for 3 seconds. While in the meantime I'm trying to get the soap to lather up. While I simultaneous pushed the button to get rinsed off. From that experience I walked away a cleaner guy. Also you never know who will be in the room with you but that is part of the thrill of saving money. I was put in a room with three other guys and an elderly lady who could snore most people I know under the table. Hosteling is really a great way to meet people from all over the world I would recommend you try it at least once.

Dublin

I arrived in Dublin two hours after our original scheduled time. I met up with friends with which I will be traveling with for the next couple of weeks (Melissa, Martha, Lynne, Hailey, Nanette and Edel). We then caught the paddy wagon bus back to the hostel. Once I had dropped off my bags I set out for some fun. First stop trinity college to see the book of kells. Which is the bible with drawings and it's in Latin. Which is why I couldn't read it. After everyone was done we moved on to get something to eat. We went to the temple bar district. Which we ended up getting Mongolian. The food was great but they were tired from traveling and they called it a day. I kept going and visited several sites Christchurch Cathedral, St.Patrick's cathedral, and Molly Malone statue. Just to name a few.

The flight

The first leg of the trip from SLC to Atlanta was smoothe sailing. Once I arrived at the terminal in atlanta I was on a trek to the other end of the airport. When I arrived they were already boarding. I hurried and got on only to be told we had engine problems. I then sat on the plane for the next four hours waiting for them to figure it out. The flight after that was alright but will go down as being one of the worst flights.
